Wife for 12 years, 3 fun loving boys I call my sons, 11 years as a nurse. What can I say, beyond blessed. I started the footcare business to accommodate my family's schedule. This allows me to be flexible and also attend to everyone's needs. That makes me very happy! I love being a nurse. It is an honour to come alongside others and help them to make healthy choices, and to help when it is necessary.
I believe that we are responsible for our health and we need to advocate for ourselves as we walk that journey. Sometimes we need help walking the journey. Health is something that we all want. But are we willing to fight for it?
I am passionate about putting your health in your hands, and well, to have your feet in my hands!
Totally recent....as in last week (june 12-13), I did a workshop on diabetes footcare! so great to be back with colleagues and friends learning how to assess the diabetic foot for neuropathy, what your risk factors are and ways to help you manage your diabetes journey.
Advanced Nursing Footcare
Recently I completed my Advanced Nursing Footcare course offered by Ruth Ruttan & Assoc, it came highly recommended. 94% overall....not too shabby if I say so myself! This course was a path changer!
I graduated in October 2007 from York University with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing, and shortly after wrote a really long licensing exam and I proudly hold the title of Registered Nurse
